Welcome to Moravia, to the eastern part of the Czech Republic, to the area with great own history. It is exactly the Greater Moravian Empire, the origin of the Czech state is connected with. (The Greater Moravian Empire was destroyed in the beginning of the 10th century.)

In the region of Moravia there are countless numbers of interesting places having great charm for the foreigners thanks to its individuality. Each one of the destinations you choose will bring you a nice experience and will surprise you.

Nowadays in the area of Moravia we can find there 8 of 12 most important localities of the Czech Republic with the right to be inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage List. They are: the city of Telč, the Pilgrimage Church of John Nepomuk (Jan Nepomucký) on the Green Hill near Žďár nad Sázavou, the Lednice-Valtice Area, the castle with its gardens in Kroměříž, the villa Tugendhat in Brno, the Holy Trinity Column in Olomouc, the Jewish area in Třebíč and the castle in Litomyšl.

The regions of Moravia like Valašsko in the north-east part with its particular character or the vine-growing region of Southern Moravia are the most frequent destinations of the thematic trips. The people there are friendly, hospitable and have its own special sense of humour .
